Health & Safety Regulations

1. Purpose

These Health and Safety Regulations (“Regulations”) are established to protect all members, guests, staff, and visitors of City Padel KL by ensuring safe, hygienic, and responsible use of the Club’s facilities.

2. Medical Declaration

2.1. Users declare that they are physically fit and not suffering from any condition that may prevent them—or any minor under their care—from safely participating in activities.

2.2. Users consent to receive medical attention deemed necessary by Club staff or medical personnel in the event of injury, accident, or illness arising during participation.

2.3. Users confirm that they possess adequate medical insurance to cover any injury, accident, or damage sustained while using the Facilities. In the absence of such insurance, Users agree to bear full responsibility for all medical or related costs incurred.

3. Health and Hygiene

3.1. Users must maintain good personal hygiene and wear clean sportswear when using the courts.

3.2. Persons exhibiting symptoms of infectious illnesses (including fever, flu, or contagious skin conditions) are prohibited from entering or using the Facilities.

3.3. Hand sanitization before and after play is strongly encouraged.

3.4. Sharing of towels, water bottles, or personal sports equipment is not permitted.

3.5. The Club regularly sanitizes courts and shared equipment but encourages Users to bring their own gear.

3.6. Spitting, littering, or improper disposal of waste is strictly prohibited.

3.7. Users must comply with any government-issued public health requirements or Club hygiene policies in effect.

4. Safety Protocols

4.1. Users must adhere to all safety signage, warnings, and verbal instructions from Club staff.

4.2. Appropriate footwear and attire must be worn at all times to prevent injury.

4.3. Players must not enter courts during cleaning, maintenance, or wet conditions.

4.4. Children under twelve (12) years of age must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

4.5. Alcohol consumption prior to or during gameplay is strongly discouraged for safety reasons.

4.6. All injuries, hazards, or unsafe conditions must be immediately reported to Club staff.

5. Assumption of Risk

5.1. Users understand that padel, pickleball, and other activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

(a) minor injuries such as cuts, bruises, sprains, and strains;

(b) fractures, concussions, or dislocations;

(c) bodily contact or collisions with other participants;

(d) eye injuries, spinal injuries, paralysis, or death;

(e) equipment malfunction, improper use, or facility defects.

5.2. Users voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to comply with all instructions from Club staff for their safety and the safety of others.

6. Emergency Procedures

6.1. In case of injury or emergency, Users must notify staff immediately.

6.2. First aid kits are available at the reception.

6.3. Emergency exits and evacuation routes are clearly marked and must remain unobstructed at all times.

6.4. In the event of an emergency evacuation, Users must follow staff instructions promptly and calmly.

7. Enforcement

7.1. Failure to comply with these Regulations may result in suspension of facility access or membership privileges.

7.2. City Padel KL reserves the right to deny entry to any individual posing a health or safety risk to others.

8. Acknowledgment

By entering City Padel KL, Users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Health & Safety Regulations and assume full responsibility for their participation and conduct.
